Although professional football has never really caught on America high school football has seen an explosion in popularity. With the explosion of football high school, there are more kids than ever want to play Football at the college level. Therefore, soccer College recruiting has become increasingly competitive.
Current statistics show that only about 5% to 7% of all high school soccer players will make the College level. Obviously, those kind of numbers, the chances are your favor as you strive to get recruited. The good news is that you don't necessarily have to be among the best 5% to 7% of all players in the country to make the College level! Why? Because many of the best players will always fly under the radar, coaches will never know who they are and will therefore never be recruited!
If you are among the best players soccer high school, maybe in the top 15% or so, the door is wide open for you to intervene and to get a scholarship or at least a partial scholarship. The NCAA offers 9.9 scholarships for men in the Division I level and 12 for women. The Division II level, there are 9 scholarships for men and 9.9 for women. DIVISION III does not offer scholarships, but offer financial aid. The NAIA offers 12 scholarships for both men and women. And finally the NJCAA (Junior Colleges) offers 18 scholarships for both men and women. Most of these scholarships are divided as partial scholarships. Only the top 2% or so of high school football players will get a full scholarship.

2-market and promote yourself correctly at the college coaches
Make sure College 3-make coaches know who you are and what you can do about them
